Facts for you to know

1. Cookies and privacy: Cookies are for collecting and analyzing traffic data and for efficient operation of the website. No personal data is retained except your name and address to fulfil and follow up on a purchase or if you sign up for a newsletter.

2. Certificate of Authenticity: A signed certificate is included with each painting.

3. Finishing, framing and hanging: Paintings are finished with a gloss gel medium to protect the painting and enhance the colour. If you wish, I can add a satin varnish which will reduce the sheen slightly. Cradled wood panels and canvas paintings do not require framing and are shipped ready to hang with professional grade wire and attachments. The sides of cradled wood panels (either 3/4” or 1 1/2” thick sides) are natural birch and will either have a clear protective coating or will be painted white or black. Canvas sides are painted a soft grey to blend with the painting. Small paintings on board are in frames with professional grade wire and attachments.

4. Payment: Pricing is in Canadian dollars. Payment can be made by PayPal, email transfer or credit card. Applicable Canadian taxes will be added to the purchase price. I would like you to have the painting you desire. If paying over time would help you to make your decision, please contact me.

5. Shipping costs: will be calculated at the time of purchase. Non-Canadian clients will be responsible for determining and paying duty and applicable taxes of their jurisdiction. Artwork is sent through Canada Post or a commercial courier.

6. My donation of 50% of purchase price (excluding shipping and taxes): I invite you to select your preferred environmental organization, from the list here, to receive my donation.

7. Damage on arrival: If you see damage to the box, please advise me immediately and send photos of (1) the box prior to opening and (2) any damage to the artwork.

8. Guarantee of satisfaction: I want you to be thrilled with your new painting. If you aren’t, notify me within 5 days and return the artwork in the original packaging within 10 days of its delivery to you. On receipt of the painting in undamaged form, I’ll promptly refund the purchase price and any Canadian taxes paid as part of the purchase price. Shipping, taxes, duty or other costs incurred at the buyer’s end unfortunately can’t be refunded.

9. Copyright, ownership and reproduction rights: I retain all rights to images of artwork I create. I alone have the right to make reproductions of artwork I create, including for sold and commissioned paintings unless you as purchaser have purchased those rights to the artwork as part of our written agreement. You and subsequent owners may not reproduce the artwork in any way without my written permission.
